I work in data and investigative journalism, sometimes also as a security expert. In 2017 I will mostly work on Liquid Investigations and teach Students in Data-Journalism at the HDM Stuttgart. If time allows, I have the privilege to work with some of the finest investigative journalists at Die ZEIT. Generally, I train people around the globe breaking their old investigative habits and creating new ones that are more sane and more secure. In the past I had the pleasure to work for/with people from NDR, SZ, ICIJ, dpa, WDR, GOOGLE, ecolot, ip-team and many more.

Ich arbeite hauptsächlich als investigativer Daten-Journalist, manchmal auch als IT-Sicherheits-Spezialist. 2017 werde ich hauptsächlich im DNI Projekt Liquid Investigations arbeiten und meine Studierenden an der HDM Stuttgart in Datenjournalismus unterrichten. Wenn es passt, habe ich weiterhin das Privileg, mit wunderbaren investigativen KollegInnen bei der ZEIT zu arbeiten. Dazu trainiere ich JournalistInnen rund um den Globus, um deren alte Gewohnheiten aufzubrechen und Ihnen neue, sichere Abläufe beizubringen. In der Vergangenheit hatte ich das Vergnügen bei folgenden Medien bzw. mit KollegInnen dort zusammenzuarbeiten: NDR, SZ, ICIJ, dpa, WDR, GOOGLE, ecolot, ip-team und viele weitere.
