Founder and editor-in-chief of Ittlakunk.hu, a group of 23 hyperlocal websites covering 23 Budapest neighborhoods used by 800.000 unique visitors a month. In 2009-10 he assisted the project of the Swiss Ringier Group for creating a quality Sunday paper in Hungary. Before that, he spent more than two decades with HVG, a Hungarian economic weekly writing on international affairs and later editing the Trend and the Interview sections of the weekly. Since 2001 he has been serving as the chairman of the Gőbölyös Soma Foundation for investigative journalism. Since 2010 he is the chairman of the board of Transparency International Hungary, an anti-corruption NGO.
