The European Investigative Journalism and Dataharvest Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest EIJC17 will take place on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday morning 21 May 2017, with a pre-conference Hack Day on Thursday 18 May.

Michele Catanzaro (Rome, 1979) is a freelance journalist based in Barcelona (Spain). He has a PhD in physics and writes for Nature, El Periódico, Chemistry World and others.Catanzaro is the co-author of the book "Networks. A Very Short Introduction" (OUP, 2013) and the documentary "Fast Track Injustice. The Óscar Sánchez Case" (2014). His work has been recognized by the King of Spain International Journalism Award, the Golden Nymph Award and the BBVA-Innovadata Prize. Michele Catanzaro was involved in 2 projects supported by Journalismfund.eu: Hearing Voices and The Risk of Using Language as a Passport. He won the 2016 European Science Writer of the Year award for Hearing Voices.
