The European Investigative Journalism and Dataharvest Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest EIJC17 will take place on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday morning 21 May 2017, with a pre-conference Hack Day on Thursday 18 May.

Flutura is a media lawyer and is responsible for the ECPMF’s legal support. She has worked for various civil society organisations in Kosovo that focus on human rights, freedom of expression and the rule of law. For several years Flutura worked on complex investigative articles and TV programs, editing them to keep them within the law. And she worked closely with journalists on fact-checking, protection of sources, whistleblowing, access to public documents and copyright. She publishes articles on the latest developments regarding the right to freedom of expression and the freedom of the media. She holds an LLB and LL.M degree in Law and is currently pursuing her PhD studies in Media Law at Ghent University.
