The European Investigative Journalism and Dataharvest Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest EIJC17 will take place on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday morning 21 May 2017, with a pre-conference Hack Day on Thursday 18 May.

Command line tools: So you know what a unix command is? Time to kick it up a notch and super charge your data wrangling using powerful tools like csvkit and csvcat. We'll teach you how to merge, explore, filter and analyse large data sets from the command line. No prior programming knowledge required. Only 25 people allowed in, first come first serve. NOTE: It's a bring your own laptop session (Mac or Linux based) or else just watch along.
