SQL for journalists 1/3: What to do when Excel is not enough to crunch your data and hardcore coding is not your style? SQL is like Excel, but on steroids! The first of 3 workshops will introduce you to the lingua franca of programming and a popular relational database. We'll cover what it does; creating a database, importing a spreadsheet; and main SELECT STATEMENTS - Crina Boros Note: Familiarity with Excel is recommended for those wishing to attend. Only 25 people allowed in, first come first serve.
