Excel 1 - This is for the beginner who wants to know how to use spreadsheets for journalism. You will learn how to sort and filter data, which actually is the methods used for about 80% of all data journalism. (Quote from Aron that I can't find right now) We will talk about how to make and structure your own spreadsheets and how to tackle spreadsheets from statistical agencies. By the end of this session you will feel much more comfortable the next time a spreadsheet lands in your inbox. Only 25 people allowed in, first come first serve.
