Data tour - EU data via the EU's Open Data Portal

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The EU institutions provide a single access point to their open data through the EU Open Data Portal. The portal provides info about the datasets the EU holds including metadata. Also if you - through your specialisation - are aware of datasets held by the EU, you can pitch them to the team behind the portal. Meet Glen Campbell and Corina Buruiana from the Publications Office of the European Union who will give you a short introduction into the EU's open data policy and then walk you through the opportunities provided by the portal https://data.europa.eu/euodp/en/about. NOTE: THERE ARE TWO EUROPEAN DATA PORTALS, THIS ONE FOCUSES ON DATA HELD BY THE EU INSTITUTIONS.

Outreach and onboarding, Publications Office of the EU, European Commission
I am one of a team helping to promote the EU Open Data Portal as a single point of access to data from the EU institutions, agencies and other bodies. I help people to find the data they want and other people to put the data out there for reuse.
