Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

52 good ideas for business models (as a minimum) – which one(s) will make a breakthrough to support investigative journalism in the future? At this panel you will meet several entrepreneurial journalism initiatives trying to make money with their journalism. Which one works in which context? Has there been a breakthrough seizable enough to replicate? Meet Apache.be , online only based upon investment and aiming to return this investment within a reasonable time. Meet Athens Life (tbc) one of the new digital first outlets, who offer longform, analytical and explanatory journalism. Meet Investigative Journalism, who have a mission of producing investigative journalism on complex European themes while testing business models. Meet Bristol Cable, who build a local collectively supported community medium. Meet hyperlocal journalism from Budapest (http://ittlakunk.hu/). And meet De Cooperatie.nl, a collective of freelancers paying someone to sell their work so they can focus on their journalism.
