The European Investigative Journalism and Dataharvest Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest EIJC17 will take place on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday morning 21 May 2017, with a pre-conference Hack Day on Thursday 18 May.

Transparency International has followed the career path of 512 former Commissoiners and MEPs made available via the EU Integrity Watch database http://www.integritywatch.eu/, a recent report indicates concerning conflicts of interests. Raphaël Kergueno from Transparency International is the man behind the dataset. Also on this panel Theresa Crysman will introduce the working of Lobbyfacts, a tool provided by a Brussels lobbywatcher NGOs based upon the EU's own transparency register.
